NEWARK, California
At its recent October Fall Meeting in San Antonio, TX, the Metal Treating Institute (MTI), the world’s largest network of heat treaters in the world, recognized Rich Penrose, from California Brazing in Newark, CA with the Heritage Award. The Heritage Award is MTI’s most prestigious award.
The Heritage Award is given to the MTI member in recognition to the individual with a lifetime commitment to the betterment of the heat treating industry with one or more notable accomplishments.
MTI Awards Chair, Jamie Jones stated during the award ceremony, “When it comes to our industry, Rich is an icon. Only 14 other people have received the Heritage Award since 1933. Rich’s passion for innovation and growth in the industry exemplified what being a difference maker looks like in our industry.”
California Brazing has been an MTI member since 2004. MTI would like to say Thank you to Rich Penrose and California Brazing their commitment and work in the heat treating industry and the Metal Treating Institute.
