NEWARK, California

Vitesse Systems announced today that it has broken ground on a significant expansion project that will increase manufacturing capability and capacity at its site in Clinton Massachusetts. Vitesse Systems – Clinton MA is a leading manufacturer of dip-brazed chassis assemblies and waveguides used in radar, electronic warfare and data transmission devices for various defense applications.

The investment will double the size of the existing facility and include a new final machining cell, a state-of-the-art robotic dip-brazing capability, and automated measurement and inspection department. The new facility is scheduled to be fully operational by January 2023. A ribbon cutting ceremony will scheduled upon completion of construction in December 2022.

Daniel Fiszel (General Manager – Vitesse Systems Clinton) explained: “Since Vitesse Systems acquired the Clinton site, we have seen increased demand for antenna and thermal management solutions. We have spent the past few months working closely with our customers to understand their requirements and this has allowed us to develop a detailed investment plan for the business. By doubling the size of the facility, we will be able to increase capacity and create dedicated process cells which will improve the overall workflow and the efficiency of the site”.

Matt Parisi (VP Sales and Marketing – Vitesse Systems) commented: “The expansion of the Clinton site is part of a broader investment strategy that Vitesse is making to meet our customer’s needs. The next generation of antenna and thermal management components will rely upon a broad range of design, manufacturing, and testing capabilities. The investment in the Clinton site, combined with the already established capabilities offered across the Vitesse platform, mean that Vitesse Systems is uniquely positioned to meet the full spectrum of our customers’ needs”.
